One (mini) Victory!

What a beautiful day!  The glorious weather made it impossible for me not to visit plot 5A (and avoid a mountain of household chores!) I was on a mission and nothing was going to stop me reaching my goal…

The goal was nothing spectacular to most, but for me it was a sign that, ‘Yes, I AM getting there’. You see, I’m locked into a series of mini battles, with couch grass, bindweed and the elements but today I notched up (a little) victory. A whole section of the allotment – right up to the pathway – has been dug!

Sad, I know but I’m pleased as punch…

  1. @powerstationallotments I’m afraid that I’m up against the clock for planting…loads more to dig and sowing season about to start!!! Eeeeeek!
@hazie76 Thank you. Fellow ‘allotmenteers’ are telling me to take my time…only one problem-me! Can’t wait to get it dug and start planting!

  2. There is nothing quite like looking back across your garden/plot at the dark brown of freshly dug soil. I still have the rest of my beds to tidy and dig and the greenhouses to wash down. Hope to have that done by the end of this week.

Keep up the good work, it’ll be worth it in the end 🙂
